Dr Reena Amin is a dentist providing children’s dentistry in Watford and the surrounding areas. With over 10 years experience she is passionate and committed to build the foundations for a positive relationship with dentistry from birth to adulthood.
Her kind and caring approach and having completed a Masters in Paediatric dentistry has enabled her to provide stress free and high quality dentistry to children.
The team at Better Care Clinic have set up an inhalation sedation clinic to make having dental treatment accessible for both children and anxious adults.
Dr Reena’s friendly and gentle manner has helped many nervous patients overcome their dental anxiety and have the dental treatment they need.
Previous Experience
Dr Reena has experience working in Community Dental Services providing treatment to children and anxious patients, whom cannot be managed in general practice.
She has held posts in Northwick Park Hospital and Manchester Royal Infirmary as an Oral and Maxillofacial Doctor carrying out many dental extractions. In 2012 she worked under Dr Claire Stevens CBE Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry at the Department of Child Dental Health in the University Dental Hospital of Manchester and the Dental Health Unit, Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
Qualifications
Dr Reena obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2010 from King’s College London.
In 2011 she passed the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at The Royal College of Surgeons of England (MJDF RCS Eng).
She completed a Masters in Paediatric Dentistry (MSc) (Distinction) at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute associated with University College London.
